Effective date:
App: AJx Player (Android)
Package: com.mynew.video.myplayer
Summary.
AJx Player is primarily a local video player. Your device videos, private folder content,
playlists, and playback preferences stay on your device. When you use optional online
features (network streams, movie catalog where available, ads, configuration, analytics, or
crash reports), related data may be processed by us or our service partners as described below.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how AJx Player (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles
information when you use the application published on Google Play.
This policy applies to the AJx Player Android app and related in-app services used by the App.
3. Information we process
3.1 Local media (on your device)
The App accesses video files, folders, and subtitle files stored on your device so you can
list, play, and manage them. We do not upload your personal video library, private
folder files, or media files to our servers for storage or hosting.
3.2 On-device app data
The App may store the following locally on your device (not as a copy of your video files on our cloud):
App preferences (for example theme / dark mode, player settings, file visibility options)
Playback progress and resume information
Playlists and related app organization data
Private Folder PIN-related state and private storage managed by the App on device
Recent network stream links or stream history (if you use network streaming)
App operational flags needed for configuration and ads delivery
You can clear this data by clearing app storage/cache in Android settings or by uninstalling
the App (subject to your device’s backup settings).
3.3 Information collected when the App uses the internet
If online features are used or required for operation, the App may process:
Device and app technical data such as Android advertising identifiers (where
permitted), IP address, device model / OS version, app version, language, and similar
diagnostic data.
Install attribution data (for example Google Play Install Referrer) used to
understand install source and configure the App appropriately.
A stable app-generated identifier used for configuration/requests (for example a
device- or app-scoped ID derived for app operations; not your video file contents).
Configuration / remote settings (feature flags, ad unit configuration, update
prompts, and related remote parameters).
Network requests you initiate, such as opening a stream URL, M3U playlist,
or optional movie/catalog services when enabled.
Crash and performance diagnostics (for example crash logs and basic device
context to improve stability).
Analytics / usage events (for example screen views or basic feature usage)
to understand product performance.
Advertising data needed to show ads, measure them, and (where applicable)
personalize them based on consent choices.
3.4 What we do not intentionally collect
We do not ask you to create an account for core local playback.
We do not collect your Contacts, SMS, or call logs for App functionality.
We do not sell a copy of your personal video library as a data product.
4. How we use information
Provide local playback, playlists, private folder, and player features
Load subtitles and media metadata from your device as needed
Enable optional online features you choose to use (streams, catalog content)
Deliver ads and measure advertising performance
Obtain and respect applicable privacy / advertising consent (for example GDPR/UMP regions)
Improve reliability via analytics and crash reporting
Apply remote configuration and in-app / store update prompts
Prevent abuse and maintain basic security of the service
5. Permissions
Depending on Android version, the App may request:
Photos / Videos / Media or Storage access — to discover and play videos and
subtitles on your device.
Internet — for optional network streams, catalog/content services, ads,
configuration, analytics, crash reports, and updates.
Network state — to check connectivity for online features.
Notifications (if used on your device/version) — for playback or system media
controls related to the player experience.
Other platform permissions required for features such as picture-in-picture,
cast/media session, or foreground service behavior during playback, as declared in the App
listing.
You can revoke permissions at any time in Android system settings. Some features may stop working without permission.
6. Advertising
The App may show advertisements using third-party ad networks, including
Google AdMob. Ads may be contextual or personalized depending on your region,
consent status, and partner rules.
Advertising partners may collect or receive device identifiers, IP address, crash/diagnostic
data related to ad delivery, and interaction data with ads. Their processing is governed by
their own policies.
In supported regions, consent and privacy options may be presented using Google’s User Messaging
Platform (UMP) and/or in-app privacy choices. You may also manage ad personalization settings in
your Google account / device advertising settings where available.
7. Analytics and crash reporting
The App may use services such as Firebase Analytics and
Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand usage and improve stability. These
services may process app events, device/app technical information, and crash stacks.
If you open network stream URLs, M3U playlists, or use an optional movies/catalog feature,
content and related requests may go to third-party servers you or the configuration selects.
Those third parties have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for
external websites or media sources you choose to open.
9. Legal bases (EEA/UK and similar regions)
Where required by law, we process personal data under one or more of the following bases:
Contract / service provision — to provide the App features you request
Consent — for personalized advertising and other processing that requires consent
Legal obligation — where we must comply with applicable law
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based (this may limit ads or measurement features).
10. Sharing of information
We may share information with:
Service providers that help operate the App (ads, analytics, crash reporting, cloud configuration)
Authorities if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the App
Successor entities in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to this policy’s principles
We do not sell your personal video library.
11. Data retention
On-device data remains until you clear it or uninstall the App.
Server/partner logs and ad/analytics data are retained according to those providers’ retention periods and our operational needs.
Crash reports and diagnostics are typically retained for limited periods needed for debugging and quality.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the App (for example
platform security features and HTTPS for network communications used by the App). No method of
transmission or storage is 100% secure. Private Folder helps keep selected videos out of the
main in-app library on your device, but it is not a substitute for full-disk encryption or
enterprise security products.
13. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of marketing to
them. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in a way that is
inappropriate, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it where required.
14. International transfers
Our service providers (including Google) may process data in countries other than your own.
Where required, they rely on appropriate safeguards under applicable law.
15. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability.
Control media permissions in Android Settings
Clear app data / cache
Use in-app privacy choices / ad consent options where shown

Contact us using the email above for privacy requests
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
16. Google Play Data safety
The Data safety section on Google Play summarizes what data types may be collected and whether
they are shared. That form should be completed consistently with this Privacy Policy
(for example: App activity / crash logs / device or other identifiers / advertising ID for ads
and analytics, depending on your final configuration).
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change
when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
Material changes may be highlighted in-app or on this page.
